Ahmed Presents

Ahmed gave the first trainee talk from the Dhariwala lab in Fall 2025. He presented his work at the Department of Microbial Infection and Immunity’s Monday Noon Meeting (MNM). His talk and project were well received. He did an excellent job answering questions and was, as always, super enthusiastic about his work! Go Ahmed!!

Presentation at ABRCMS

Miqdad was selected as a session leader and invited to talk along with Dr. Kawasumi from OSU Dermatology at the Annual Biomedical Research Conference for Minority Scientists (ABRCMS) in late fall 2025. The session was titled “From Cradle to Cancer: How Microbes and UC Shape Our Skin”. It was a pleasure interacting with the students and judging immunology posters. So much excellent science from such bright students. Science is in good hands!!

Lab Holiday Party

IT was fun to host our lab holiday party for 2025 at Miqdad’s home. It was an evening filled with food, games, laughter, food, white elephant gifts and oh did I mention food! It was also a great time to meet significant others and be thankful for 2025!

Lab Outing!

Nice weather called for a quick lab outing to get awesome doughnuts and boba! It was fun to step out of the lab for a walk. We also celebrated Olivia’s lab rotation with us. Hope to make this a regular lab outing/tradition.

First Summer Lab Meeting

A FULL TABLE!! This was the first full table at a Dhariwala lab meeting. Lab is growing and we are excited to talk about our projects. Looking forward to fun-filled lab meetings and awesome science discussions for the rest of the year.
